National Geographic 20x Stereo Microscope
With its fixed 20x magnification, generous working distance and binocular-style eyepiece, the National Geographic Stereo Microscope is an ideal choice for investigating rocks, insects, fossils and other large specimens.
The binocular-style eyepiece of this 20x microscope sits at a 45° angle to provide a comfortable viewing experience perfect for long observing sessions. To accommodate different observers, the barrels can be rotated closer or farther away from each other to meet individual interpupillary distance needs. The binocular eyepiece design also makes it easier for users to keep both hands free to work on a specimen while observing.
For versatility, the National Geographic 20x Stereo Microscope offers two forms of LED illumination. The top light will highlight amazing surface details in opaque specimens, while the stage light can be used to illuminate slides or translucent objects from below. This illumination is battery-powered, which means the microscope is suited for in-the-field investigations when a power source may not be close at hand.
In addition to its two 10x wide field eyepieces, the microscope set comes with 12 mineral samples, three collection vials, a magnifying glass, tweezers and a petri dish.
