It’s that time of year for students, parents, and teachers to prepare themselves for the transition into a new school season as summer officially closes its curtains. With the first day of school kicking off soon, we’re excited to welcome students back into the routine of learning and fun! Here at the Scott Family Amazeum, we believe that education doesn’t stop at the classroom door. Our unique exhibits and programs are designed to spark curiosity, exploration, and bring lessons to life through hands-on activities.
To expand the learning experience, guests can explore interactive exhibits and participate in innovative Tinkering Hub workshops! The Curiosity Corner also offers a variety of products that captures the excitement of the museum’s experiences, allowing guests to take the fun home with them!
The rotating science experiments featured in the Hershey’s Lab are perfect for self-guided discovery activities. In each lab, guests can learn interesting scientific topics with different Hershey’s candy. For example, the 
Float Trip experiment explores density, buoyancy, and engineering design; Fizzy Fun focuses on chemical reactions with Ice Breakers; and Flavor Scientist investigates changing states of matter by melting chocolate. The Curiosity Corner features products such as the Dinosaur Gummy Candy Lab and the Wizard Potion Science Kit, which provide a fun way to recreate the engaging activities found in the Hershey Lab right at home.
The Nature & Weather area prompts guest to explore how the process of various weather-phenomenon shape the landscape of our planet.
A perfect space to explore science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics for guest of all ages is the Tinkering Hub! With a vast array of materials, there are endless possibilities for creation. The Tinkering Hub is capable of guiding and supporting imaginative ideas, while also igniting inspiration for new projects. The Solder Practice Kit and Keva Contraptions are great experiences to take home that mirror the innovative activities found in the Tinkering Hub!
