Come embark on a one-of-a-kind adventure at the Scott Family Amazeum this July where you can explore the newest Cultural Fusion program and discover how culture, creativity, and STEAM collide into an enriching experience! 


With the new pop-up activities featured in the museum, the Curiosity Corner will be spotlighting STEAM activities and books that contain a twist of cultural inclusion. For example:


The book  I, Too, Sing America, digitally illustrated by Katie Crumpton, showcases the renowned African American poet Langston Hughes’ poem “I, Too.” The vivid illustrations within the board book brings to life various contemporary scenes of a young African American boy’s life and are accompanied by a powerful message that instills perseverance and hope in young readers. 




The Tiny Traveler Inflatable Globe takes the dreams of aspiring adventurers to new heights as they can take a voyage across the globe to discover the oceans, continents, cultures, and languages of the planet. Additionally, the globe’s durable, shiny exterior ensures the fun can extend beyond the comforts of home, allowing the adventure to continue anywhere!



 

This Little Engineer book highlights ten memorable individuals whose innovative minds have paved the way. Filled to the brim with fun, bold illustrations, and interesting facts, young readers can learn all about the engineers who are building our future in surprising ways and their amazing work.
