While the Amazeum always has something fun around the corner, this spring is packed with extra-amaZING events! Join us on the last Sunday of each month from 2 to 4 p.m. at our Circuit Block Party. At each Block Party, you can create and tinker with Circuit Block Kits and with guidance from our Amazeum team, you can learn the ins and outs of various tools and materials. This community event is free and requires no registration, however admission to the Scott Family Amazeum is required. Anyone is welcome to come explore circuits, but purchase of a Circuit Block Kit from Curiosity Corner is

required to create your own blocks and take them home. Put your and your child’s curiosity and creativity to the test at this block-buster event each month!

Help your teen expand their maker skills in our Make it Yourself Workshops! The Amazeum is hosting a soldering workshop for children ages 13-17 on April 27th. Soldering isn't just for circuit boards! Try your hand at binding metal and learn the skills to create your very own soldering wearable. Each workshop we take a deep dive into a different maker skill or process. These two hour sessions are hands-on, skill-based sessions designed to build confidence in expressing personal creativity. Amazeum team members will provide step-by-step guidance and support so there's no need for previous experience. Click here to learn more and register for the event.

Join us in highlighting several local makers in our community this month! While exploring at the Amazeum, you can discover exclusive products designed by people of Northwest Arkansas and support local small businesses. Click here to learn more about our Maker Spotlight program.
