Addison Stoufflet’s love of reading started at an early age. Like many young readers, she was swept away by the fantastical creatures she found between these pages, most of all her fiery favorite, dragons. However since dragons in Arkansas were in short supply, Addison spent most of her early days with her head in a book chasing adventure with her mind’s eye instead. And as many do, when the real world called her away she would stuff any available object inside said book to hold her place. Many times, to her family’s annoyance, this object was the tv remote. So when the opportunity came to design a product to sell, it was clear to all that a bookmark that stayed with the book, never to be misplaced and always at hand, was the perfect answer. A savior to book readers (and tv remotes) everywhere, a new style of bookmark was born!
Addison has now been running The Hedgerow Fox for a year, with her bookmarks in Pearl’s Books, Fayetteville and Oil + Meg, Bentonville. She was also a vender at the first NWA Book Festival.
